My photography group F2.8 headed up to Shelburne Farm in Vermont this past weekend for the “Lenses on the Land” Workshop. We arrived on Friday to find huge waves on Lake Champlain and thinking we probably won’t be getting those outdoor shots we were hoping for… The weather let up some on Saturday and we were able to do some outdoor photography but the indoors was just as fun. Our host, Marshall Webb was one of the nicest people I have come across and kept us busy shooting thru sunrise on Sunday. I can’t wait to go again next year! I love my group!

Due to the weather I made an unscheduled stop at an antique store in Vermont. The owner was nice enough to let my friend and I take photos for 2 hours! Sometimes rain can sidetrack you in an interesting direction!

famous? He posed for me on the Barn Tour in Gloucester, RI in 2009.

I made it in! The 66th Annual Members Prize Show at The Kathryn Schultz GalleryThis show was Juried by Arthur Dion, Gallery NAGA and runs from October 9th thru November 9th. I went down to Peeses Point this Summer to visit my Dad’s cousin. My grandparents met in Mattapoisett, MA while on summer vacation as kids and I still have a lot of family living there. I had not been since I was a child myself so it was so nice to visit!

One of my photo groups headed out to Jamestown for a sunrise shoot over the summer. It is such a great place to photograph!

The Artist of the Month program is sponsored by the Friends of the Dover Library. Each month, a different local artist’s work is displayed in the library. Pieces are available for sale and 10 percent of all sales goes to the library.
The Dover Library is located at 56 Dedham Street in Dover.
Library Hours are Monday 10-8, Tuesday 10-6, Wednesday 10-8, Thursday 9-6, Friday 9-5; and Saturday 10-5. The Library is closed on Sundays. Hope you can stop in!
Art Friday is every Friday this summer in Downtown Crossing.

This past Sunday I went down to Buttonwood Farm in Griswold, CT. http://www.buttonwoodfarmicecream.com/
The sunflowers were almost at their end but I still enjoyed them! I do believe that the ice cream was possibly the best I have ever had. If you have a minute check out their website. They do a lot for the make a wish foundation.
