Every year I go to a huge antique car show in Burlington, Vermont with my dad and my brothers and sister. We have a ball.
Somehow my dad spotted this ladybug and surprisingly it stayed put long enough for him to get me!
and the car the ladybug was on…..
Old cars can make for some great tectural macro shots.
This car was my favorite! It was full of character. The owner had rescued an old mercury from an overgrown pile in the woods and welded it together with several other odds and ends to create this super cool and unique car. I loved it! He had a great book of photos to go along with it showing how he completed the car step by step.
It wasn’t all just car show. We had a great time in downtown Burlington as well. It is a beautiful place.
I was visiting Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary a few weeks ago for a group art exhibit featuring Sarah Alexander and her students. My friend Shiau-Yun had a few pieces on display (great stuff!). I decided to take a walk after the show and came across these ducks taking a rest.
John didn’t have a suit with him but that didn’t stop him from one last dip in the ocean before the cold….
These senior portraits were taken last week at Stony Brook. It is that time of year again!
I went down to Providence this morning to the Botanical Greenhouse at Roger Williams Park to meet with some fellow photographers. There is currently a Carniverous plant exhibit which made for some fun photography! I made my way thru the exhibit as well as the rest of the greenhouse and I had a great time!

I also played around with using colored filters on the flash. It made for some interesting end results.
